7,230 jobs created and preserved thanks to IRF loans

The Investment and Development Fund (IRF) has approved €132.5m to the Montenegrin economy since the beginning of the year. Thanks to these loans, a total of 7,230 jobs have been either created or preserved, Zoran Vukcevic, chairman of the institution’s Board of Directors told Dnevne Novine.

As he said, the most money was directed to the projects in service industries, tourism, agriculture and food production.

“Since the beginning of 2017, IRF has approved €132.5, to the Montenegrin economy, which is 54% more compared to the same period last year. The effects of these investments primarily relate to the creation of new jobs. Thanks to these loans in 2017, a total of 7,230 jobs were either created or preserved,” he said.
