Abazović: Whoever tries to threaten Montenegro’s national interests can’t be our partner

Holder of the ‘Black and white’ list and president of URA, Mr Dritan Abazović, said in the interview for Face TV from Sarajevo, that he “is convinced they will oust Milo Đukanović but that it will take time”.

“This is the first time we passed the entrance exam so that we can candidate for democratic societies. We brought down the regime that made private state”, Mr Abazović pointed out.

He said that some of the letters he had received “have been ordered”.

“We won’t be able to integrate Montenegro if we keep one national corpus under constant pressure of thinking they are country’s enemies. I don’t think that way. I am not defending their ideology, but there are people who are very committed to Montenegro”, Mr Abazović pointed out.

According to him, 85% of citizens are deeply committed to Montenegro.

Mr Abazović claims that DPS has deprived citizens of their country.

Mr Abazović also said that it was still not certain if Mr Zdravko Krivokapić would be Prime Minister.

Mr Dritan Abazović says that the most important thing for them was that there was no derogation from Montenegro’s national interests.

“Whoever wants to jeopardize that principle is not our partner”, URA leader said.

If there happen to be any derogation from the principles outlined in the agreement, the three coalitions would leave the government.

Mr Abazović remembers well when Mr Đukanović told him that he is “a scoundrel”.

He says that he is not afraid.

“Even though I think police department is steep in corruption, I believe there are decent people there”, Mr Abazović said but declined to answer who had threatened him.
