Aluminum Plant, Ironworks, Railway Infrastructure to conclude agreements with EPCG

The Government adopted the decision on energy balance of electricity, coal, oil, derivatives and bio-fuels for the next year.

“In 2019, gross consumption of electric power is projected to be 3551.5 GWh. Import of electricity is planned to be 140,5 GWh”.

Production of the thermal power plant Pljevlja is projected to be 1,317 GWh whereas the projected gross consumption in 2019 will be 3551,5 GWh.

Long-term agreement with the Electric Power Company of Republika Srpska will be active in 2019, as well as the exchange of electric power in the amount 8,5 GWh.

The document reads that Electric Power Company of Montenegro and Coal Mine should conclude the annex to the agreement for 2019 which will provide regular and safe supply of the thermal power plant.

“By 31st December, EPCG is supposed to have concluded the agreements with Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS), Aluminum Combine (KAP), Ironworks and Railway Infrastructure and to predict consistent adherence to the rules of purchasing electricity from EPCG”, reads the document.
