Amfilohje’s hate speech before Cetinje prosecutors

Mitropolit Amfilohije

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica forwarded the case against Risto Radovic (Amfilohije), the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro to the Cetinje Prosecutor’s Office, Pobjeda reports. Montenegrin Movement filed criminal complaint against Amfilohije for committing the criminal offense of violating the reputation of the people and minorities.

The Podgorica Prosecutor’s Office spokeswoman, Danka Ivanovic-Djeric, said that the case was handed over to the Cetinje prosecutors because Radovic made the controversial statement “during the liturgy in the Cetinje Monastery”.

Montenegrin Movement filed a criminal complaint against the head of the SPC in September, due to hate speech.
