Another five people die from coronavirus in Montenegro

Another 193 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Montenegro today, while a further five people had died Sunday of the virus. The patients counted in today’s death toll were from Podgorica (2), Kotor, Pljevlja and Bar. Meanwhile, 150 people beat the virus. There are currently 3.995 active cases, i.e. 634 infections per 100K people.

“Labs of the Public Health Institute pulled 657 samples for PCR testing in the last 24 hours and detected 193 new cases,” the Institute stated.

New cases are from Podgorica 72, Nikšić 25, Rožaje 18, Bijelo Polje 12, Berane 10, Budva 9, Bar 8, Cetinje 8, Ulcinj 7, Pljevlja 6, Mojkovac 5, Žabljak 4, Herceg Novi 2, andrijevica 2 and Tuzi 2, Kotor 1, Plav 1 and Danilovgrad 1.

Data show there have now been 170 Covid-19 deaths registered in MNE from early June, i.e. 179 since the pandemic started in March.
