American companies make up almost one quarter of the entire business community, said the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).
Interest American companies take in penetrating Montenegrin market is on the rise, said the representatives of the AmCham, adding that there are currently around 50 American companies operating in Montenegro.
“The list of major companies operating in Montenegro includes Coca Cola Hellenic, Domen, Investment Fund, Philip Morris, Remax, Mastercard, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Oracle, Western Union, Hilton and others. Some of them cover Montenegrin market from the countries in the region. American companies regard the Western Balkans region as a unique market”, said the representatives of AmCham.
They point out that new companies getting into the Montenegrin market confirm Government’s statements and strategic projects to be implemented by ministries.
“Since it started its activities, American Chamber of Commerce, has been committed to improving business environment, based, primarily, on the rule of law, predictability and transparency, with the aim of attracting as many American investments as possible”, said the representatives of AmCham.
