The director of Voli company, Mr. Dragan Bokan, was awarded today Manager of the Year. Using the opportunity to thank those who have selected him, he said the most important thing is to build and develop high quality staff, and that young people should be given the opportunity to realise themselves through work and education. He also wanted to emphasize that success does not come easily, nor through shortcuts.
Mr. Bokan’s award is for Manager of the Year in Large Companies and Joint-stock Companies.
“Responsibility towards the work, towards the people we employ, towards business partners, the state, our family, and ultimately – towards ourselves. The responsibility that all our projects are based on realistic and moral grounds”, Mr. Bokan said about the secret of his success.
He also said Montenegro has great potential, and what, as an entrepreneur, he believes he can best contribute to the economic development of his country through agricultural production.
“Through the agricultural land in Šasko polje, Voli is launching this type of business deeply believing that Montenegro can meet all requirements of quality production, with special emphasis on organic goods”, he announced.
The award ceremony was also attended by ambassadors and other high representatives of the diplomatic corps, the EU, Turkey and the United States, as well as representatives of associations of managers from the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Milutin Simovic, pointed out the Award’s additional significance for a manager because it comes from the Association of Managers, which has over 300 members in Montenegro.
