Brajović: Council of Europe to recognize Montenegro’s progress

President of the Montenegrin Parliament, Mr Ivan Brajović, met with co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for Montenegro, Mr  Ionuț-Marian Stroe and Anne Mulder. He pointed out that he expected them to recognize the progress Montenegro had made.

They emphasized the importance of engagement of all political actors in order to improve electoral legislation.

Mr Brajović stressed that governing majority had prepared a great number of proposals for further improvement of the overall electoral environment.

Mr Stroe pointed out that PACE appreciated openness of the parliamentary majority about all-party dialogue in the Parliament of Montenegro.

He also said that Montenegro was going the right way, and said it should go on with the reforms with even more determination.
