Brajović – Négyesi: Montenegro records constant progress

Montenegro records constant progress. Expected progress in European integration would be a strong motive for further reforms, said president of the Parliament, Mr Ivan Brajović, during today’s meeting with the ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro, Mr Jozsef Négyesi.

“Mr Brajović pointed out that Montenegro and Hungary has great bilateral relations. He expressed gratitude to Hungarian counterparts and their willingness to always share knowledge and experience they have in the implementation of projects financed by the EU”, the statement said.

Mr Brajović stressed that Hungary’s support for reform activities in Montenegro was an expression of friendship and mutual understanding.

Mr Négyesi said that intention of the Hungarian Parliament “is to intensify cooperation with the Parliament, as one of the most important institution in Montenegro”. He pointed out that his country would continue to strongly support Montenegro’s path to the EU.

Interlocutors discussed current affairs provoked by COVID-19 crisis and emphasized need for cooperation and understanding in overcoming challenges.
