Earnings in the Parliament

President of the Parliament Ivan Brajović’s salary is 2.187 EUR per month, Vice President Branimir Gvozdenović is paid 1.990 EUR, while the other Vice President Genci Nimanbegu receives 1.726 EUR, Pobjeda daily was told from the Parliament.

Brajović (SD), Gvozdenović (DPS) and Nimanbegu (Forca) were chosen to lead the Parliament on November 24th of last year. Opposition representatives did not attend the session due to their boycott of the Parliament, which is the reason no vice presidents were chosen from the opposition.

Current Parliament leadership costs the state budget 5.904 EUR.

This amount decreased compared to the previous leadership, that received 7.630 EUR.

Brajović’s salary is higher than that of the former Parliament’s chief Darko Pajović (Positive Montenegro), who received 1.668 EUR during his last month.

President of the Parliament currently has 5 advisors in his cabinet.

Chief of the cabinet and main advisor to the President is Tatjana Krivokapić, and other advisors are Periša Kastratović, Ana Miljanić, Ana Radonjić and Bojana Dabović. They were put into function by the Administrative Board in the beginning of December.

“Decision on special advisors in the Parliament of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro no 21/16) defines the titles, job descriptions, nominations, mandates, rights and obligations of advisors to the president and vice presidents of the Parliament. In accordance with the Decision, President of the Parliament currently has 5 advisors”, they stated in the Parliament.

Vice presidents currently do not have advisors.

Vice President Gvozdenović used to be Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism in the former government, while Nimanbegu used to be a representative of Forca in the Parliament.

Branimir Gvozdenović has an official car BMW series 7, while Genci Nimanbegu has Opel Astra 1.6 CDTI.

President’s car and security falls under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Interior Affairs, so the Parliament could not give a statement on that.

“President of the Parliament falls under the category of protected individuals, subject to measures of protection in their workplace, residence and transportation. Ministry of Interior Affairs handles the protection”, they stated in the Parliament.
