Company “Vjetroelektrana Budva” is interested in the construction of a wind farm in Brajići. The estimated value of a wind farm is 100 million EUR.
“Total installed power of a wind farm would be 75 MW, which implies that the expected amount of investment will be 100 million EUR”, said the representatives of the Government.
The construction of the wind farm has been enabled through the model of land leasing, according to the Law on State property. The location where the construction was planned includes parcels which are mostly in state ownership, with some 10 % being in private ownership. The submitted documentation shows that there are preconditions for the further development of this project.
In that context, Ministry of Economy should establish Commission, composed of the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, in order to design tender documentation.
