This year, Bijelo Polje will be richer for Elementary school „Dušan Korać”. Also, construction of Music school is planned as well. Beside that, a gym hall and a toilet of the „Marko Miljanov“ school will be reconstructed. This way, schools in this town will definitely bring their reputation back, said Damir Šehović, Minister of Education during his visit to educational institutions in this municipality.
In the following weeks, work on the construction of the elementary school is expected to begin and it will be financed from the capital budget.
During his visit to Bijelo Polje, Minister Šehović met with directors of all educational institutions and he used this opportunity to talk about the challenges coming their way. The Ministry identified all the infrastructure shortcomings of the existing institutions and Šehović pointed out that part of the funds for specific reconstructions has already been provided. Furthermore, first graders will be able to learn English from the very beginning of their education.
