Consumers will be entitled to compensation due to power outage

Application of financial compensation for the buyers of electricity in case of power outage will start in August, announced the President of the Board of Directors of  Energy Regulatory Agency, Mr Branislav Prelević. He explained that the compensation would amount to €20-€200 depending on the degree of vulnerability and voltage level of the consumer.

The established Rulebook contains criteria for the quality of the service of transmission and distribution system, as well as foe the services of the supplier.

“The Rulebook defines maximum duration of the outage, deadline for the announcement of the next cut, deadline for issuing consent for re-connection, and minimum voltage deviation standards”, said Mr Prelević.

Energy Regulatory Agency adopted the Rules on minimum quality standards of the electricity supply delivery.

Mr Prelević presented Financial Statement on the activities of ERA performed last year.
