COVID-19 crisis has shown unity and resistance of allies, was the conclusion of the second day of the meeting of Ministers of Defense of the North-Atlantic alliance.
Ministers stated that NATO continued to respond successfully to challenges and fulfill tasks aimed at safeguarding safety of its territory and citizens.
They agreed that it was very important to inform the public on all the activities timely and accurately.
Montenegro’s Defense Minister, Mr Predrag Bošković, said that coronavirus crisis had shown importance of the united approach of all allies in countering spread of disinformation.
He said that NATO should work on identifying and dealing with these challenges.
Minister added that previous period had confirmed that the Alliance remained committed to its fundamental values.
He emphasized the importance of military capacities as support in the implementation of national measures to mitigate coronavirus consequences.
Minister expressed his gratitude to all allies which had provided support to Montenegro in the form of medical material and equipment, ensuring our country’s adequate response to the pandemic.
