Đeljošaj: Tuzi Municipality operating in its full capacity

Đeljošaj

The Municipality of Tuzi marked yesterday 15 December – the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Tuzi in memory of the dead and warriors that were involved in the liberation of Tuzi in the fight against fascism.

The President of the Municipality of Tuzi, Mr Nik Đeljošaj, expressed respect for the 22nd Albanian brigade that actively participated in the liberation of Tuzi and the surrounding.

He said: “Dreams of those who gave their lives for freedom after the liberation were not fulfilled because their ideal was the development of the country in a democratic way towards equality and development, and not as it happened, by the communist system of government. That is why we, as a new generation, are going to make their dream come true and work only for democracy, freedom and development.”

Mr Đeljošaj emphasized that over the past nine months, since Tuzi has become an independent municipality, they managed to set up all bodes and secretariats so that the local self-government can operate in its full capacity.
