Members of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) are: Mr Milo Đukanović, Mr Duško Marković, Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, Mr Petar Ivanović, Mr Ivan Vuković, Mr Aleksandra Vuković, Mr Milutin Simović, Mr Predrag Bošković, Mr Jevto Eraković, Mr Aleksandar Žurić, Mr Vlastimir Golubović and Mr Halil Duković, CdM finds out.
President of the Political Council is Mr Milan Roćen and head of the DPS caucus will be Mr Nikola Rakočević. Mr Branimir Gvozdenović will probably be political director.
Meeting of the Main Committee of DPS adopted decision on the formation of Political council counting 11 members.
The Main Board was constituted at the meeting today.
The Presidency appointed Mr Miloš Nikolić new DPS spokesman.
Đukanović: We will not withdraw the law
Analyzing current political situation, Mr Đukanović said that Montenegro was defending its civil concept.
“I haven’t heard any legal argument against the Law, apart from that Serbian Orthodox Church reiterates. That won’t stop the country from doing its job and implementing laws which are completely harmonized with the Constitution and international norms”, Mr Đukanović said
He pointed out that opposition to the law was the last political battle Montenegro’s enemies were fighting with the aim of bringing Montenegro back to the dark middle ages.
