There are almost 580 pupils and over 250 employers participating in the dual education system, which means that those pupils attend lectures at their vocational schools simultaneously being engaged for a salary in certain companies. This actually convinces us the project is good as those employers give salary to pupils amounting to about EUR 100, thus showing that they are really interested in training pupils, said director of the Center for Vocational Education, Duško Rajković.
He added that they first required portfolio of every employer, which included some basic data on their financial and know-how expertise in order to be sure that children are in good hands.
“The Ministry of Education has been preparing the campaign ‘Vocational education is crucial’ for this year as well, and we plan to expand the dual education system,” said Mr Rajković.
