Đukanović with Japanese ambassador: Cooperation in the area of science and business to be improved

Montenegro’s president, Mr Milo Đukanović, had a meeting with ambassador of Japan, Mr Junichi Maruyama. They encouraged firmer relations between two states and closer cooperation in the area of science, technology, business and investment.

Mr Đukanović and Mr Maruyama discussed impressions over the ceremony of the enthronement, attention and hospitality of the Japanese state. Mr Đukanović pointed out that it had been an honorable experience for him.

They initiated formation of interstate team of scientists, researchers and representatives of governments, in order to define fields of future cooperation and consider the needs for the improvement of cooperation framework.

Mr Đukanović highlighted Montenegro’s interest in improving knowledge in the domain of IT, food production, sustainable energy and healthcare.
