Montenegro’s President, Mr Milo Đukanović, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Ruler of Dubai and expressed his gratitude to the Sheikh for the attention he “devotes to Montenegro and implementation of important investment projects that contribute to economic development of our country”.
Mr Đukanović praised the quality of the relations based on cooperation and trust, and acquainted Sheikh Al Maktoum with Montenegro’s current positions.
Mr Đukanović emphasized Montenegro’s commitment to dynamic economic development and openness to foreign investment.
He pointed at the importance of better traffic connection between Montenegro and the UAE and other international destinations.
“In that context, Dubai can be a recipe for development and connection to the world”, said Mr Đukanović.
Prime Minister Al Maktoum said that Montenegro was close friend of the Emirates and there were great chances for further cooperation.
“Montenegro has got great investment climate. We’ll gladly contribute to its development and reinforcement of destinations’ activities”, said Al Maktoum.
