Montenegro citizens may expect to get the energy passports for their dwellings and thus obtain the information on the energy efficiency by the end of the year, explained the Director General of the Directorate for Energy Efficiency in the Ministry of Economy, Mr Marko Radulović.

“We expect to complete the procedure by the end of the year, when the citizens will be able to get the energy passports for their dwellings. Just as they can have an insight into the certain energy class range of a product in shops, they will now be able to see the energy efficiency of their homes,” said Mr Radulović during the yesterday’s hearing for the proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Energy Efficiency.

The main goal of the amendments, he added, was to collect data that would enable closer monitoring of the work of public servants.
