According to the Government’s data, EUR 165.2 million was spent for the construction works on the Bar-Boljare priority motorway section last year, reported Dnevne Novine daily.
“From the beginning of project implementation to 31 December 2018, a total of EUR 591.70 million, that is, EUR 431.33 million was spent from the loan agreement with China’s Exim Bank. Of this amount, USD 186.47 million referred to 2018, that is, EUR 135.93 million,” suggested the Annex to the European Commission’s report on Montenegro.
Somewhat slower use of funds allocated for the motorway construction caused reduced capital budget implementation (for EUR 24.4 million) when compared to the defined plan.
