Speaking in a morning TV show of the public broadcaster TVCG, Mr Momčilo Radulović, the leader of the European Movement in Montenegro, said the EU’s assistance has been immensely valuable. However, he pointed out that its [EU’s] reaction wasn’t favorable at the very beginning of the coronavirus outbreak.
The pandemic is a test of many parameters, said Mr Radulović, adding that “at the very beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, the EU’s reaction wasn’t positive, and they themselves even admitted it by almost apologizing to Italy.“
We could see a lack of solidarity, trust, assistance and support, according to him.
“But we have to notice somewhat better situation over the past few weeks, everything’s getting better.”
Funds allocated for Montenegro are already at our disposal – he said.
“We are to witness a tremendous economic crisis, everyone will experience it – citizens, institutions, state, industry…,” Mr Radulović noted.
