Food festival in London: Montenegro presenters were preparing kacamak

Sa festivala u Londonu

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, NTO, is presenting the gastronomic offer of Montenegro at the food festival ‘ National Geographic Traveller Food Festival’, taking place in London over the weekend of 20-21 July, and Montenegrin presenters were preparing breakfast. It is the first time this festival has been organized with the aim of offering a unique range of dining, learning and drink experiences across the world. The festival will be hosting some thematic workshops so that the visitors get to know more about food and ways of preparing it in specific tourism destinations.

The countries that also contributed to the festival are Hungary, the Dominican Republic, Tunisia, Wales, Israel, the Bahamas, Grenada, Greece, Thailand and Nicaragua. Montenegro is presenting its national cuisine within the campaign ‘Good. Better. Artisan food.’

Visitors were especially thrilled to see half-an-hour cooking workshop when Ms Slađana Šoć, Wild Beauty award winner and chef de cuisine at Hilton Hotel in Podgorica, demonstrated how to cook Montenegrin kacamak – a dish made of potato, butter and cheese.
