Funding sources of Serbian House, Matica Srpska, In4S…

Srpska kuća u Podgorici

What connects the Serbian House, Matica Srpska, the non-governmental organization In4S, the offshore company ANG Montenegro, as well as the private company Tangenta, except that through their accounts, if we look at them as a whole, millions of euros are passing, of which the largest part comes from the Serbian government and Serbian companies, writes Dnevne Novine daily.

GOJKO RAIČEVIĆ AND RELATED PARTIES

When you look at the managerial structure of all these companies, the first thing that comes to your mind is that it’s all about the same people, headed by Mr Gojko Raičević, the owner and founder of In4S portal, that is, the non-governmental organization. Beside In4S, his name is mentioned in other companies as well, such as Our Agency [In Montenegrin: Naša agencija], ANG Montenegro, Rusomont and Serbian House. He goes hand in hand with Mr Vladimir Božović (just to be on the safe side – he’s not an ambassador) who has been included in the managerial structure of the following companies: ANG Montenegro, Atlantic News Group LLC, In4S, Matica Srpska and the Serbian House.

Data that Dnevne Novine daily had the insight into show that over the past few years, the Government of Serbia provided over 5 million euro for the Serbian House and Matica Srpska, while the largest donor for In4S portal was M:tel company.

MATICA SRPSKA AND SERBIAN HOUSE GOT OVER €5 MILLION

From May 2017 to Sept. 2019, the Serbian House had 3.648 million euro, i.e. this amount of money was on their account, of which the largest inflow was financed by the Serbian govt that paid around 3.590 million euro to them.

According to the information of Dnevne Novine daily, the largest part of that money was spent in May 2017, when a total of 3,383 million euro was transferred on the account of Niksan Trade, owned by Mr Miodrag Daka Daviović.

In addition, from January 2014 to December last year, the turnover of Matica Srpska through accounts opened with commercial banks in Montenegro amounted to 1.554 million euro.

M:TEL – A MAIN DONOR OF IN4S

The Serbian government has also backed Mr Raičević’s portal In4S either directly or through its companies. According to Dnevne Novine daily, around 279,000 euro went through the account of this portal from September 2013 to January 2020. What is even more interesting is that most of the inflow comes from the company M:tel, owned by Telekom Srbija and Telekom RS, which paid 200,000 euro to this portal for four months, that is, from end of September 2018 to the end of January last year, allegedly for advertising services.

All funds paid from the In4S account, either as material costs, fees or consulting services to founders and people working for this NGO, will be subject to special checks by the National Police.

ANG MONTENEGRO

Mr Gojko Raičević and Mr Vladimir Božović are also mentioned in other companies, primarily the ANG Montenegro. Its founder is a legal entity Atlantic News Group LLC, with headquarters in Delaware. ANG Montenegro is actually a subsidiary company of an offshore company from Delaware. According to Dnevne Novine daily, Mr Vladimir Božović is founder and owner of it, while Mr Gojko Raičević performs affairs of an executive director.

Data show that in 2018, ANG Montenegro received around 100,000 euro from Atlantic News Group LLC, but the money also came from the New Serbian Democracy [Nova srpska demokratija], Movement for Changes [Pokret za promjene], S Press Ltd, M:tel as well as from Mr Mladen Bojanić. This company, according to the information of Dnevne Novine daily, paid around 80,000 euro to Vijesti in this same period (2018) based on a service contract.

Who provides funds for Tangenta Company?

Montenegrin authorities also controlled Tangenta company, owned by Mr  Blažo Papović, one of the founders of Matica Srpska. Mr Papović is dealing with electrical production, engineering and servicing the electrical systems.

He’s also included in the managerial structure of Matica Srpska and the Serbian House, and generated revenues amounting to about 2.2 million euro through business relationships of his own company Tangenta with other legal entities mostly state-owned (EPCG, CGES, CEDIS, TE Pljevlja) from 2014 to 2019.
