The market inspectors fined owners of nine garages and car washes in Bijelo Polje a total of €630 over violating regulations. However, they did not find that they spilled processed engine oil in the Lim river, writes Vijesti.
Stricter controls were carried out from 15 to 19 January, after the NGO Green Power claimed that there were about 100 garages and car washes in Bijelo Polje and that only 30 of them legally operate. The NGO also claimed that most of them discharge processed oil into Lim.
