President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, Mr Vlastimir Golubović, called on German businessmen to invest in our economy, during today’s meeting with the director of the German-Serbian chamber of commerce AHK Serbia and coordinator of the activities of the association for the WB countries, Mr Martin Knapp.
“Mr Golubović briefed his guest on the activities of the Chamber and the considerable contribution it makes to the creation of the favorable environment for the operations of all business entities. He presented main macroeconomic indicators and pointed at dynamic development of our country”, said representatives of the Chamber.
He pointed out that volume of German investments had amounted to €305 million since the renewal of independence.
According to Mr Golubović, exchange of goods between Montenegro and Germany is constantly growing. In 2019, it amounted to €206 million.
Mr Golubović particularly focused on the priority development sectors, projects which have been planned or are under way, as well as conveniences business in Montenegro might offer.
“Speaking about inter-economic cooperation, Mr Golubović stressed the participation of the business association he represented in Eurochambers and other relevant institutions”, representatives said.
Mr Knapp pointed out the importance of the network of foreign trade chambers of Germany for stimulating the export of their companies.
“We want to increase the presence of our association and German businessmen in Montenegro”, Mr Knapp said.
He said that AHK would contribute to the increase in digital visibility of Montenegro on their platforms.
