Government will keep supporting sustainable development in Tuzi

Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, congratulated residents and local self-government of Tuzi on their Municipality Day and said that Government would keep encouraging development of Tuzi in order for it to become prosperous and sustainable local self-government.

PM discussed potentials and projects in the youngest Montenegrin municipality with the President of Tuzi, Mr Nik Đeljošaj, president of the Assembly, Mr Fadil Kajošaj, Vice-president of the Minicipality, Mr Ivan Ivanaj and Director of the Directorate for Municipal Property, Ms Elvisa Redžematović.

“They stated that dialogue was crucial to further development of infrastructure. Leaders of Tuzi highlighted the importance drawing up of detailed town plans, as they are prerequisite for the continuation of legalization process and basis for implementation of numerous investments”, said the representatives of the Government.

Mr Marković stressed the importance of further capital projects and added that possibilities for other projects would be taken into consideration as well.

“Montenegro builds its future on traditional coexistence and understanding of differences. In that context, Government expects residents of Tuzi and everybody else to show respect for state symbols in order to preserve harmony, dignity and good reputation of Montenegro and its citizens”, said the representatives of the Government.
