The government is ready to sign an agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church, SPC, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić posted on Facebook today.
“I talked to His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije and we’re soon to agree on the date of signing the agreement. This issue must not be the subject of politicization or subterfuge for making political gains,” PM Krivokapić wrote.
If the SPC is satisfied, he adds, he doesn’t know why some people, presenting themselves as its defenders, are dissatisfied.
