One more person from Podgorica, treated at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, has passed away today. Labs of the Public Health Institute pulled 326 samples for PCR testing and registered 39 new infections, while 111 patients have recovered. The total number of active cases in Montenegro is now 1.119, i.e. 179 cases per 100.000 people.

“New cases are from Podgorica 22, Nikšić 8, Kotor 2, Bijelo Polje 1, Berane 1, Herceg Novi 1, Budva 1, Plav 1, Plužine 1 and Tivat 1,” the Institute noted.
The death toll from early June now stands at 53.
“The total number of recorded Covid-19 cases since the start of the outbreak is 3.588,” they stated.
