Vuk Mitrović, a 3-year-old resident of Nikšić, is suffering from cerebral palsy and he needs EUR 33.900 cash in order to be treated in a private hospital in Turkey. So far, his fellow residents managed to collect around EUR 4,700 for his treatment.
Vuk is a premature baby, which is why he spent almost four months in the neonatal unit of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), after which he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Vuk still doesn’t talk, walk and neither he can sit. Doctors recommend stem cell therapy in Istanbul but his family is unable to pay for his treatment due to a humble financial situation.
