The Government of Montenegro at its latest session adopted the Single List of Priority Infrastructure Projects and added certain projects from the field of digital infrastructure. There are several projects referring to Herceg Novi worth millions of euro, but won’t be implemented until the completion of spatial-planning documentation, reports Dnevne Novine daily.
The most valuable project is the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway along the Montenegrin coast. This project will include 7 parts, i.e. the construction of overpasses in the coastal towns.
Construction of the overpass in Herceg Novi, that is, the Debeli Brijeg-Bijela section, should be 17 km long, whereas the estimated value of the project is €193.2 million.
The construction of a bridge across the Boka Bay, along with viaducts and access roads, has been projected to €67.9 million.
