It’s sad to see what’s happening to Montenegro, Krivokapic embarrasses the state, Knezevic’s behavior hypocritical

Žarko Korać

Montenegro has a prime minister who’s obviously incapable of doing his job and I think that those who elected him are well aware of it. However, it’s even sadder to see that he’s started to embarrass Montenegro. The entire region sees it, probably others as well and it’s sad to witness it. Now we have a man who doesn’t control events in Montenegro, a university professor, Mr Zarko Korac, says in an interview for Dnevne Novine daily.

“It’s sad to see what’s going on in Montenegro. A man who embarrasses the state whose prime minister he is, is running executive power, and everybody sees it, both in the region and beyond. Therefore, he was in Belgrade on Thursday night to sign the fundamental agreement which he didn’t see, but it’s not so problematic as the fact that the government neither saw it nor adopted it. Montenegro’s prime minister is not an absolute monarch to make decisions on his own and sign agreements with others as he wishes.”

He continues: “It’s an incredible situation. Mr Krivokapic is not doing his job and is meddling in the affairs that he’s not supposed to, and in a way that no one has ever dealt with since WWII.”

On the argument between the DF MP, Mr Milan Knezevic, and the PM during the PMQs, he notes: “It should be clear that this government would fall in 15 minutes if only the DF wished for it. It’s why the behavior of Mr Knezevic is hypocritical. The way he speaks about the Prime Minister whom he elected, describing him as an alcoholic, tells more about Mr Knezevic than Mr Krivokapic.”
