Jugopetrol’s net profit up 51.7 percent

Oil company Jugopetrol finished last year with net profit of 7.63 million euros or 51.7 percent higher than in 2016.

Report published on the website of the Montenegro Stock Exchange says the company’s business revenues rose 16.5 percent to 135.14 million euros, while expenditures rose 16.8 percent to 127.06 million euros.

The largest part of expenses (EUR 111.56 mil) refers to the purchase value of goods sold.

Costs of salaries, fees and other personal expenses amounted to EUR 3.46 million, depreciation and provision to EUR 2.33 million, and materials to EUR 657.5 thousand. Other operating expenses amounted to EUR 9.05 million.

The total assets of Jugopetrol, a company that deals with trade in oil and oil derivatives, amounted to EUR 103.9 million at the end of December and were 4.8% higher compared to 2016.

The company’s undistributed profits amounted to EUR 13.1 million, long-term provisions and liabilities to 383.09 thousand and short-term to 14.02 million euros.

Deferred tax liabilities amounted to 57.23 thousand euros.

The majority owner of Jugopetrol is Hellenic Petroleum International since 2002, with 54.35 percent of the company’s shares.
