Deputy Prime Minister for the political system and Defence Minister, Rasko Konjevic, says that the proposal of the Defence and Security Council doesn’t mean the Montenegrin Army is going to deploy additional troops in NATO missions, as it’s about the change of competencies over soldiers who are already in Latvia within the Alliance.

In a statement for TVCG, Mr Konjevic explained that it was about the proposal which should be discussed in parliament: “The Council had to confirm the decision to place our soldiers who are there under the command of NATO, as well as all other soldiers who are there. It’s our international obligation”.
