The local parliament of Kotor made a decision yesterday referring to the construction of an extremely significant tourist resort in Bigova, the President of the Municipality of Kotor Mr Željko Aprcović announced.
Namely, upon the initiative of Bigova Bay investors, a study on this location was launched, where the utility infrastructure agreement worth €15 million will be signed.
“The decision on signing this agreement creates the necessary preconditions for carrying out the investment in Bigova worth approximately EUR 300 million, without neglecting other sites that correspond to Bigova. Our intention is to build two tourist complexes and what I’d like to emphasize is that we are about to finalize negotiations for the completion of the existing sewerage system and the one that is missing from Prčanj to Stoliv. Moreover, I talked to the Prime Minister and agreed on an act for the construction of a vertical transport that should go towards Njeguši. The value of this investment is around 5 million,“ he noted.
The 2020 budget of Kotor Municipality will amount to around €23 million, which, according to Mr Aprcović, represents a significant increase.
