Lekić’s deal with Davidović seems unlikely

Miodrag Lekić

The leader of Demos, Mr Miodrag Lekić, recently had talks with the Montenegrin businessman living in Belgrade, Mr Miodrag Daka Davidović, on the current political situation in Montenegro, Dnevne Novine daily obtained this information from several relevant sources.

The details seem unknown, but having in mind the announcements about the planned enlargement of the political association ‘Da svako ima’ [For the benefits of all], Demos probably wishes to join it.

The Association ‘Da svako ima’, consisting of the SNP, United Montenegro, Workers’ Party and the independent MPs, was established in Bijelo Polje. According to Dnevne Novine daily, Mr Miodrag Lekić and his Demos most probably won’t be the part of the Association as the United Montenegro opposes it due to some conflicts between Mr Goran Danilovic (now the leader of the United Montenegro but who used to be the vice-president in Demos) and Mr Lekić that happened 2 years ago.

It’s expected that Mr Davidović would agree with the position of the United Montenegro when it comes to Demos, as the businessman counts on the leader of the United Montenegro, Mr Goran Danilović, the most.
