Marković in Kotor: Contractors fail to perform their duties

Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr Duško Marković, talked with the heads of the Municipality of Kotor about the infrastructure projects worth over €50 million, which are supposed to contribute to the development of Kotor and Boka.

“We also discussed sport hall and pool. Contractors are unfit. They must perform their duties. Otherwise we’ll find other contractors. We will finish these two infrastructure projects in any case”, said PM.

Mr Marković points out that important topics for discussion are Kotor-Njeguši cable car, which will bring benefits for both Cetinje and National Parks of Montenegro and Montenegrin tourism in general. He said they also talked about the construction of Jaz-Tivat boulevard, as well as about the benefits of getting a high-quality concessionaire for the Airports of Montenegro.

“We’ll make sure Kotor reaps part of benefits of the intense economic development of Montenegro. I didn’t have chance to discuss that with the previous local government and, unfortunately, Kotor and Montenegro have paid that price”, said Mr Marković.

Therefore, Government will resume constructive dialogue with the responsible local administration in the Municipality of Kotor.
