European Union has a clear interest in stability and progress of Montenegro and the region, it was stated at today’ meeting between Mr Duško Marković, Montenegro’s Prime Minister, and Mr Charles Michel, President of the European Council.
“Montenegro is a leader in the accession process!”
Mr Michel congratulated Montenegro on opening the last negotiating chapter.
“Now comes the most challenging phase of negotiations where we need to further enhance reform efforts. Montenegro can count on the EU assistance”, Mr Michel said.
