Porto Montenegro has a special place and represents a historic turning point in the country’s tourism and promotion of Montenegro, prime minister Dusko Markovic said during his visit to the prestigious resort.
“I want to express satisfaction with the achieved results. Porto Montenegro has changed the image of Montenegro. In addition, the company’s development plans and vision of its development indicate that this will be even more prestigious destination that will be available worldwide and will contribute to the development of our economy,” the PM said.
Markovic congratulated the Porto Montenegro managing director David Margason on the company’s success and reiterated that it would have government’s full support. He pointed out that the executive branch was committed to improving the business environment in order to valorise the country’s resources and provide a higher standard and quality of life for its citizens.
“You have achieved great success in ten years. When we launched the project together, it was a pioneering undertaking,” Markovic said.
The PM also said that he and his government supported the vision of Porto Montenegro’s further development to be of benefit to the company, Tivat and Montenegro.
“I’m happy to see you invest in new projects. We want to create the most favourable environment for investments and investors in Montenegro. This is my government’s strategic policy,” Markovic said.
