With reference to statement made by Mr Zdravko Krivokapić, for Vijesti TV, that he held intense talks regarding the new health infrastructure, PM Cabinet reacted and told Mr Krivokapić “not to adorn himself with borrowed plumes”.
They pointed out that EU’s financial support for the construction of the Infectious clinic had been planned through Annual Action program, IPA 2018.
“The first version of the program, €4.5 million support was planned for the construction of these two infrastructure facilities, while the remaining €4 million should have been provided as national co-financing”, the reaction says.
The consolidated description of the project was endorsed by EU member states through the adoption of the EC IPA Committee at the beginning of October 2018.
“The project envisages revision of the main project, preparation of tender, construction, procurement of equipment, supervision of works and formal opening of two clinics. Therefore, the former Government did everything to enable construction of the Infectious clinic and provide twice the financial support than projected. To translate this – don’t adorn yourself with borrowed plumes. You will have the chance to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities during further implementation of this very important capital project”, the statement concludes.
