Mesaric denied the criminal act, released

Former director of NLB Bank Crtomir Mesaric, suspected of organizing a criminal group that damaged the country for more than 20 million EUR in the affair Primorka, was released yesterday, after a hearing in the Special Prosecution.

With his attorney Dragoljub Djukanovic, he came to a hearing in the Prosecution, after which he was released to defend from freedom. According to the sources of Weekend Edition of Dnevne Novine daily, he denied the criminal act he was accused of, and said he did everything in accordance to the law.

Mesaric was accused of abuse of authorization in commerce, and he helped the other suspects to implement the criminal plan by enabling bad credits to companies Krisma motors, Krisma trade.

Mesaric and Nebojsa Boskovic are accused of using Boskovic’s companies Krisma trade, Krisma motors and Melgonia Primorka to by the property of that company in favourable conditions.

Other accused in this case are executive director of Krisma motors Svetozar Markovic, executive director of Krisma trade Biljana Boskovic, advisor in the embassy of Montenegro in Brussels who used to work in the Ministry of Finance Predrag Stamatovic, secretary general of municipalities Refik Bojadzic, former member of board of directors of EPCG Boris Buskovic, director of Melgonia Milenko Markovic and executive director of Melgonia Primorka Vinko Marovic.

The investigation also includes NLB Bank, accused of abusing authorization in commerce by aiding the accused.
