The outgoing Economic Development Minister, Jakov Milatovic, has said that he and the Finance and Social Welfare Minister, Milojko Spajic, have great expectations from, as he says, a large number of citizens “with whom they communicate on a day-to-day basis in order to be promoted as the party”.
He also announces that he’s going to take part in the Podgorica local election, underlining that they’re soon to name their candidate for mayor. “Whether it’ll be me or the Finance Minister… you know, the Minister is from Pljevlja, but votes in Podgorica. I’m born here and feel as a local. We’re supposed to decide on this matter soon,” Mr Milatovic told the Voice of America.
According to him, the minority government is non-democratic as it doesn’t represent the election will of citizens demonstrated on 30 August 2020.
