Milošević: Montenegro’s Government didn’t initiate counting of Serbs

Tarzan Milošević

Counting Serbs hasn’t been initiated by Montenegrin government, Mr Tarzan Milošević, ambassador of Montenegro to Serbia, has said.

“I don’t have any information about Novak Đoković not being allowed to enter Montenegro“, ambassador said.

Montenegro is civil state, he says.

“There were 9% of Serbs in Montenegro in 1991. By 2003 the number grew by 23%. The conclusion I draw is that opinion has changed and the number of those who declare as Serbs has increased“, Mr Milošević said.

Asked if that means that counting blood cells started in Montenegro, Mr Milošević answers affirmatively.

“Counting Serbs is not initiated by Montenegrin government . We have no reasons to forbid anybody to declare themselves as they want“, Mr Milošević said.

He adds he has always declared himself as Montenegrin.

If Montenegro had any intentions against Serbia, he would resign his function, Mr Milošević says.
