Ministry headed by Bratic sends letters to all schools and kindergartens: Teachers’ councils should propose acting headteachers

Vesna Bratić

All primary and secondary schools, as well as kindergartens in Montenegro, have received a letter from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports headed by Vesna Bratic yesterday. The letter says that teachers’ councils should nominate acting headteachers in the next 15 days, in order to include collectives for the purpose of finding the best solutions.

Considering that there are some ambiguities in the interpretation of the letter sent by the Ministry, it’s pointed out that the letter was sent in order to enable the participation of educators in all phases of their work, as well as to find the best solutions.

The union vice-president Stanka Vukcevic has told Dan that there is no article in the General Law on Education on the basis of which teachers’ councils can propose acting headteachers.
