Ministry of Transport invites bids for the Airports concession

Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs has invited bids for the submission of applications for pre-qualification for granting concession on the Airports of Montenegro.

Minister of Transport, Mr Osman Nurković, said that foreign companies were very interested in the Airports. Bidder is obliged to pay at least €100 million in advance and to pay to the country at least 10% of the annual profit of the Airports for the next 30 years.

Expected investment volume is at least €80 million in the first three years and at least €200 million during the concession period.

Pre-qualification phase will last 45 days and it will be followed by a tender procedure.

Concession is aimed at providing necessary value to the Airports of Montenegro in a sustainable way.
