The Ministry of Education’s proposed 2018 budget will be increased by around €3m. A good thing is that the investment item has been increased by around 20%, within which educational institutions will mainly be reconstructed. Special attention will be paid to schools in the north, this ministry’s secretary Omer Mehmedovic told Pobjeda.
He said that the ministry was working on creating optimum conditions for students in the facilities.
Mehmedovic called to mind that the ministry’s investment budget was spent for a lot of projects, including 20 major ones. As he said, €1.7m was invested in reconstruction of schools.
The 2018 draft budget envisages building of six new kindergartens within the project implemented with the Council of Europe’s Development Bank.
