The latest annual report of ACI (Airport Council International) says the Airports of Montenegro greatly boosted air accessibility. The report suggests that Tivat Airport is among the leading growing destinations with 352 per cent growth rate, Executive Director of the Airports of Montenegro, Mr Danilo Orlandić, stated.

In addition, Podgorica Airport records growth of 284 per cent and it is the fastest growing destination over the past decade in the category – the capitals of the region.

“Another important thing suggested in the ACI report is the fact that Montenegro holds the third position among the countries of the region when it comes to air accessibility, following Serbia and Croatia. Over the last two years we managed to introduce 36 new direct flights, which means our country is connected with over 70 destinations through the airports in Podgorica and Tivat,” Mr Orlandić emphasized.
