Montenegrin-Albanian joint railroad station opened in Tuzi

The ministers of transport of Montenegro and Albania, Osman Nurkovic and Damian Gjiknuri, opened a joint railroad station in Tuzi.

The joint station represents a great step towards fulfilling EU standards for transport policy.

Regarding investments in this border line, Montenegro has prepared an application for the preparation of the main reconstruction, electrification and modernisation project for the entire railroad between Podgorica and state border with Albania. The project is €2m worth. The Podgorica – Albanian border segment runs 24.7 kilometres.

The ministers accompanied by transport ministry delegations also visited the Moracica bridge site on the priority section of the Bar – Boljare highway.
