Presidents of the Governments of Montenegro and Azerbaijan, Mr Duško Marković and Mr Novruz Mammadov, agreed that relations between the two countries were very good, characterized by intense political dialogue and high level of understanding, followed by the continuous enhancement of the cooperation in the area of economy. They both see joint interest in further improvement of economic cooperation and mutual support at international level.
“With its modest potential, Montenegro is committed to contributing to peace and stability, and supporting the independence and sovereignty of partner countries”, said Mr Marković.
Prime Ministers said that both countries enjoyed the benefits of renewed independence, that they were connected by the fact that both countries were small multi-ethnic and multi-confessional that enhanced cooperation within Balkan region and contributed to the world peace each in its own way.
Mr Marković expressed satisfaction with the fact that Azerbaijan is one of the greatest investors in our country, and he invited Mr Mammadov to visit Montenegro next year, on the occasion of opening new tourist center.
“Investments from Azerbaijan contribute to the image and future of our dynamic economy. I want this successful cooperation to continue and expand. I am very glad that You accepted to visit Montenegro next year”, said Mr Marković during official talks held in Baku.
