During the regular bilateral consultations between Montenegro and the Hellenic Republic in the area of defense, both countries agreed that there’s a need for even closer cooperation.
This has come as the result of the talks between the general director of the Directorate for Defense within the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro Ivica Ivanović and Commodore Mikhail Naoum, director of HNDGS International Relationships Directorate. They also exchanged opinions on the current political and security situation in the region, current issues regarding bilateral cooperation as well as cooperation within NATO.
Both noted that there’s a need for even stronger networking and joint operations, having in mind the existing complex challenges in terms of security.
